I just read that Jacqueline Kennedy used to whiten her teeth using burned toast.
has anybody tried this?

I did'nt know that but according to the website About.Com, quote. "burnt toast was often used to whiten teeth. It is believed that it is the burnt bits that were ground up into a powder then mixed with a little flavored oil and then the teeth were brushed with the mixture." unquote. Interesting but you would have to find the time to prepare it. And save money on tooth paste.

Maybe it makes it black first? Who knows. That sounds weird and gross.
Other Replys:you can't whiten your teeth with toast, not even white toast. it would have to be some pretty sandy toast... or something laced with bleach.
