Wisdom Teeth?!?
I have to get my wisdom teeth out soon I'm so friggin scared I've been crying for weeks and almost made myself sick over it...&& I'm also TERRIFIED of the dentist!! I haven't had braces in like 2yrs and they told me that when my wisdom teeth grow in they WILL mess up my "straight" teeth! Is this true? If anyone has had their wisdom teeth taken out & or is also afriad of the dentist please give me some advise! What is it like? Does it hurt? Like did they have to pry your mouth open? ( they do this to me with cavities so yea I HATE whatever that device is that prys your mouth open!) PLEASE HELP ME
Wisdom Teeth?!?
Hi, I had mine taken out a couple of days ago, and trust me, you have NOTHING to worry about. Although I am in pain now, the actual surgery was a piece of cake. I was asleep throughout the entire procedure, and when I woke up, the teeth were gone. I felt no pain for that entire day although my face was swollen. Trust me, it is not as bad as you think it may be and you have no reason to be terrified. I am the scariest person in the world (ask my friends and family), and if I can do it, so can you! I even cried once I got to the dentists office to have the procedure done, and i'm 25 years old!!! lol It definitely wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and the only pain I am feeling is now...3 days later. Just hang in there, and don't worry about it. They will take great care of you, and it will be over before you know it.
