Chipped guinea pig teeth?
My 2-year-old guinea pig was sitting on my lap today when I noticed that her teeth were chipped. I have feed her lots of vitamin C, and she has been acting fine lately. The top left tooth looks fine, but the one next to it looks like half of it just came right off. On the bottom set, it seems like both teeth were chipped. It looks like they were both evenly chipped, except for the one on the right only got partially chipped, forming something that looks like an incisor. Will this hurt her? Do I need to go to the vet? What kinds of special treatments do I need to give her (if any)? How long will they take to grow back? What are some ways I could help her grow stronger teeth? If you had past experience with guinea pig teeth chipping, what did you do? I need any detail that I can get because I want the best for my little piggy. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Offer her lots of hard and natural things to chew on; wood pieces, a mineral block (different than a salt wheel), etc.
Keep an eye on the teeth.....they should hopefully wear and grow back to where they're even. HOWEVER....watch andbe certain that they wear evenly, and that she's eating well. Often, you can get stuck in a continuous circleof broken teeth....the longer tooth breaks because it lacks the support of the other, but breaks shorter than the other one....
