Why are my teeth hurting?
I got my teeth cleaned about a week ago, but ever since then, the place in between several of my teeth have been THROBBING. Not just 'eh, pain' but real, jaw-clenching pain. This, after any tooth cleaning, has never happened, and I've been brushing my teeth twice a day. Even flossing. (which I usually don't) But the pain just won't go away. It hurts when I eat, sometimes drink, and just random parts of the day.
I don't know what to do!

It sounds like during the cleaning the nerves of your teeth got irritated and are now inflamed. Ouch. Call your dentist and ask them. They can tell you. If this becomes a regular thing, you may want to consider switching to Sensodyne toothpaste. Apparently tooth sensitivity increases with the aging process as well. Anyway, I always hurt more after a trip to the dentist.

Brush your teeth 3 times a day.
And aviod sweet foods for a month.
And never eat after the third brush.

Other Replys:Just came from the dentist, the gave me sensodyne tooth paste to take twice a day for a while, cleaning can irrate the nerves because they have to get all the plaque build up out of there, You diet has alot to do with that. Mountain Dew, my fav is the worst according to the dentist, they also gave me a floride toothpaste that you use and then do not eat until morning, its made by colgate and you donot rinse, its called prevident gel. I am hoping this will take care of my problems, hope this helped you, good luck, the sensodyne and oral jel will work, I gurantee it.
