Wisdom teeth advice?
Alright, so I have some damn wisdom teeth popping out. Is it necessary to get em removed? My dentist said that I will have to go to an oral surgeon because he doesn't feel comfortable doing it. If I leave them in, will my teeth become crooked? I have been through years of braces (back in middle and high school) and would hate for my teeth to get messed up. Or will it be fine to leave em in?

If they don't hurt, leave them alone. If they hurt, then you need to get them extracted.
They are not "extra" teeth... they are suppose to be there but for most people they grow in under and to the side of other teeth.

As long as they can fit in your mouth without moving your other teeth or if they are not causing you any pain, I would see no reason to have them removed.
Other Replys:If your wisdom teeth are not giving you any particular bother - leave them well alone.
Whilst they are coming in, buy ice poles, leave the wrappers on and apply to the sore area!
Other Replys:There is a strong possibility that the rest of your teeth will, in fact, become misaligned (crooked) due to the force of those widsom teeth pushing their way in. They often cause a lot of pain, too, so I would strongly suggest that you prepare to have them removed.
Other Replys:It's best to have them removed, as I have. The pain can be unbearable. They aren't really needed anyway. Get them out as early as you can. The older you get, the more problems could arise. Good Luck
