My teeth keep chipping?
Hi theirs been a few questions about this asked already but i want to ask my own version of it so i can get some things cleared up. I seem to be going through a phase at the moment where my teeth keep chipping luckily all the chips have happened at the back of my mouth so it isn't very noticeable (unless your a dentist :P). and right now I've just discovered my third chip in about 12 months along with being extremely expensive to repair it's also extremely annoying and worrying. I am 19 and i am concerned about how common this is and if their is anything i could do to prevent it from occurring i try to take good care of my teeth and brush them daily and use mouthwash i perhaps don't drink as much milk as i should but i have an ok diet to make up for it (also im not bulemic cause i heard that could be a cause so i'll just clear that one up :P) i think i may grind my teeth espicially at night so also if anyone has any tips on how to prevent that i'd be greatfull aswell thanks in advance

your teeth need more calcium to stay strong once they are strong your teeth grinding shouldn't do anything

You need a bite plate. Your jaw is out of alignment causing you to grind your teeth. It will not correct the alignment but it will stop the chipping. And the chips need to be repaired or decay will enter in the open places.
Other Replys:You can buy a night guard at Walmart. It molds to fit your teeth. It was $20. as I recall. It helped me stop night grinding. I chipped crowns, what an expensive bad habit.
That should help prevent more chips. Taking calcium pills might be helpful in strengthening them.
Other Replys:your teeth are very brittle due to lack of calcium, but drinking milk or taking calcium tablets is not going to help you now since your teeth has already grown fully. You need to go to the dentist & get coverings(crowns) done before it starts hurting.
